My Little Pony: A Very Minty Christmas

Image
My Little Pony: A Very Minty Christmas . This   is a cute little movie that follows a pony on her journey to save  Christmas after she accidently breaks the candy cane that guides Santa  to her town so she sets out to fix it. I really liked this movie cause the  animation and story got pretty well together there are a few moments  that I think could have been better but all in all it was a really good  movie. So, with that, lets get to the story shall we: Minty accidentally breaks the "Here Comes Christmas Candy Cane",  which  apparently guides Santa Claus to Ponyville. To try to make up for  doing this, Minty gives each pony one of her socks (she hangs them like  stockings on the other ponies' fireplaces). When Pinkie Pie finds out  what  Minty has done, Minty states that the sock giving is a bad idea, and  then decides she should go to the North Pole herself to set things right.  Minty is terrible at balloon flying, so the chase is on to s

Happy New Year, Charlie Brown!

Happy New Year, Charlie Brown! In honor of New Years Eve and The New Year 2021 I give you an  amazing  Charlie Brown new years special, this is one of the 3 greatest  peanuts movies around. Charlie Brown is always taking it in the back but  he never gives up and will never  surrender. I hope you get to see this  one  tonight but sadly the only place you can watch it is Apple T.V. and  that sucks. I do own it on DVD and you can find the DVD on Ebay or  Amazon. So, with that, lets get to the story shall we: While all the kids are happy that they get time off for Christmas vacation, somehow only Charlie Brown is made to write a book report on  War and Peace  by  Leo Tolstoy . There is one major distraction on his mind, the big New Year's party all his friends are attending, with Peppermint Patty continuously convincing him to attend. Charlie tries inviting the object of his desires, the  Little Red - Haired Girl , but gets his hand caught in the

Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas.

Image
Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas. This is a really good movie and I know it's puppets and not animation  but  they are animated so it fits with my blog. I know Christmas is over  and we need to look to another year of waiting so what better movie to  get you excited for next Christmas than a wonderful movie like this one.  So, with that, lets get to the story shall we: Following an introduction by Kermit the Frog, the story tells of Emmet  Otter  and his Ma, a widow who scrapes by on the small amount of money she gets from doing laundry and that Emmet gets from doing  odd jobs  around their home in the town of Frogtown Hollow despite both of them often being cheated. Some of the people who cheated them are Old Lady  Possum  and Gretchen  Fox  (the wife of  Mayor  Harrison Fox) of Waterville. As Christmas approaches, they hear of a talent contest in the nearby town of Waterville with a grand prize of $50, and separately decide to enter to buy s

Once Upon a Snowman.

Image
Once Upon a Snowman. This is a short of Olaf's first minutes of being alive in the movie Frozen  and it is a masterfully well done story by Pixar, the animation is perfect  and it goes very well with the story as it should. You can find it on  Disney+ right now. So, with that, lets get to the story shall we: During   Elsa ' s song " Let It Go ",  Olaf   the snowman is brought to life. Before he can do anything, however, she releases her cape, which flies and knocks him down the mountain side until he crashes into a tree. Not knowing who he is, or why he is alive, he decides to find an identity for himself. He comes upon   Wandering Oaken's Trading Post and Sauna   where   Kristoff   can audibly be heard singing " Reindeer(s) Are Better Than People " from the barn and gets flattened by the front door by  Anna , who exits not noticing him and carrying a bag of carrots which she will eventually give to K

In Search of Santa.

Image
In Search of Santa. If you are looking for a fun and happy Christmas movie this one is for  you. There is one saying in the movie that stuck with me and I am not  sure why they would put it in a kids movie but, "Poop hole" is said by  one  of the elders and it made me laugh but still not sure why they put it  in there, maybe to make kids laugh, I don't know, anyway if you can get  past that this is a really good family movie that can be enjoyed by  everyone. The only thing is, you can't really find it anywhere only on a  few websites like you tube so if you can find it you should really enjoy it.  So, with that, lets get to the story shall we:  When a sleigh bell mysteriously falls from the sky, pure-hearted Princess  Crystal is determined to prove it came from one of Santa's reindeer.  Together, she and her sister, Princess Lucinda, set off on a daring  journey  to the North Pole to find Santa Claus. Along the way,

Winnie the Pooh: A Very Merry Pooh Year.

Image
Winnie the Pooh: A Very Merry Pooh Year. I hope you see this on Christmas cause it is one that can be enjoyed by  the whole family young and old. The animation and story fit perfectly  together and as you know that is a big thing for me. You can find it on  Disney+. So, with that, lets   get to the story shall we:  On Christmas Eve,  Winnie the Pooh  is having trouble setting up his Christmas tree. Pooh slips and falls, and breaks a shelf holding a present he made for  Piglet . When Piglet suddenly arrives, Pooh desperately searches for a new hiding place for the present (since the broken shelf can no longer stay up) as more of his friends arrive, eventually putting it in an empty honey pot and then helping himself to a full pot of honey with satisfaction, in which he forgets to answer the door. The gang eventually open the door themselves per Roo's advice after wondering why Pooh won't let them in. Although surprised to see Pooh eating honey, they

The Smurfs: A Christmas Carol.

Image
The Smurfs: A Christmas Carol. If you are looking for a great take on A Christmas Carol you will want to  watch this movie, it a wonderful take on the story plus who doesn't love  the smurfs. The animation is beautifully done and fits so perfectly with  the story and I have said this so many times before, if the story doesn't  fit the animation it wont work, in some cases it works but in most other  movies I have seen in animated movies it just makes it look weird but  with this movie it is perfect and I hope you see this one, you can find it  on the boom network or online and DVD. So, with that, lets get to the  story shall we:  On  Christmas  Eve, the Smurfs get ready for their Christmas party. Hefty Smurf and Handy Smurf cut down a  Christmas tree , and by Christmas evening, they all finish and start to celebrate.  Grouchy Smurf  refuses to join the party, expressing his hatred towards Christmas. After their Christmas party, all of the

Winnie the Pooh and Christmas Too.

Winnie the Pooh and Christmas Too. I love this movie cause of the Christmas theme but Winnie the Pooh is  such a great character for this kind of story. The animation and story are  perfect and fit very well together. You can find it on Disney+ but you  can't find it on DVD or Blu Ray and I'm not sure why cause it is a  wonderfully made movie and I think they could make money from it, I  will keep you updated about finding it on DVD and or Blu Ray. So, with  that, lets get to the story shall we: Two days before  Christmas ,  Christopher Robin  writes out a letter to  Santa Claus  for him and his friends in the  Hundred Acre Wood , asking for presents;  Rabbit  wants a new fly swatter to stop bugs from eating carrots;  Eeyore  wants an umbrella to keep the snow off his house;  Tigger  wants a snowshoe for his tail so he can bounce on the snow without his hands and feet; Robin wants a sled "big enough for me and maybe a friend or two"

Olaf's Frozen Adventure.

Image
Olaf's Frozen Adventure. I had to watch this a few times cause it was just that good, Josh Gad is  one of the best actors around he fits this part so perfectly. The animation  and story fit around the Frozen movies and go together with both  movies,  it is just so perfect and if you know me the stories have to go  with the animation or it wont work, this movie is an amazing piece of  work. If you haven't seen it I really hope you do cause it really is a great  30 minutes of perfection . You can find it on Disney+ or on ABC this  Christmas.  So, with that,  lets get to the story shall we: It is the first Christmas season since the gates reopened and  Anna  and  Elsa  host a celebration for all of Arendelle. When the townspeople unexpectedly leave early to enjoy their individual holiday traditions, the sisters realize they have no family traditions of their own. Elsa laments the fact that because she had isolated herself most of her life,

Frozen II.

Image
Frozen II. I just got threw watching this movie and I have to tell you it was  amazing, such a wonderful piece of animated perfection. I loved the  story  and the animation went perfectly with the story. I really hope they  make a number 3, I loved this movie just like the first one, I can't say it  enough, just every part of the animation was so beautiful and smooth  and the story is so perfect. You can find this on Disney+ or buy it on Blu ray or DVD, it was just perfect animated cinema. So, with that, lets get to  the  story shall we:  King Agnarr of Arendelle tells a story to his young daughters,  Elsa  and  Anna , that their grandfather, King Runeard, had established a treaty with a neighboring tribe of Northuldra by building a dam in their homeland, the Enchanted Forest. However, a fight occurs, resulting in Runeard's death and enraging the  elemental spirits  of  Earth ,  Fire ,  Water , and  Air  of the forest. Th

Frozen.

Image
Frozen. I wanted to be very careful with this movie cause it is the most beloved  Disney movie ever made. I have talked to so many people about Frozen  and there has never been any bad words or anything from it and I agree,  it is a wonderful Disney masterpiece. It is filled with so many songs and  just amazing music that fit it so perfect you have to watch it over and  over again. The story and animation are so perfect that when your a  reviewer like me you don't look for anything wring you just sit and watch  it tell the end and rush to your blog to give your take. I just watched this  a few hours ago for the 50th time and it gets better and better every  time  I see it. I have read so many comments about the movie and I can  say with all  honesty  that no one and I mean no one hated this movie, I  mean every comment was an A+ from everyone. Every kid in my family  loved it, they have shirts, dolls, Blu rays, DVD'S, bl
