Spike.

Spike, is a French Christmas short film.

I first saw this one many years ago and thought it was really good. The

animation was ok it fit with the story so that is why it made my list, plus

who doesn't love a good old fashion elf saving Christmas story. So, with

that, lets get to the story shall we:

The film centers on Spike, a young elf who has recently graduated

from elf school and has gone to work at Santa's workshop, which hasn't

had a new recruit in 25 years. He also befriends a penguin named Paco

who wishes to fly.

He volunteers to collect a sack containing letters to Santa. However, he

ends up losing the sack, which ends up in a bank containing

the fish reserve for Ping Ville, the city of penguins.

Spike, with the help of head elf Raymond, goes to get the sack back.

However, that same night, two polar bears named Tony and Vito plan to

rob the bank to steal the fish.

Upon breaking into the bank and taking the fish, Tony turns against Vito

and leaves him trapped with Raymond. Spike pursues Tony, who flees

with the fish on a hot air balloon.

With help from Paco, Spike manages to deflate the hot air balloon. Tony

tries to run off, but is stopped by Vito, who managed to get out of the

bank with Raymond.

Later, Santa congratulates Spike and Raymond on getting the sack and

stopping Tony from stealing the fish. He then awards them with aiding

him on his deliveries.
